Overview
About Me
I’m from vancouver island, canada, and am currently living in ireland with my partner and our little cat named fiáin.
Some things that I love are: living communally, seeing live music, cooking big pots of soup, crocheting, working outdoors, walkable cities, dips in the ocean, listening to podcasts, flea markets and thrifting, reading with my queer anti-capitalist book club, and rollerskating! Recently I've been learning how to surf, silversmith, climb, and make mead.
I tend to be on the quieter/more introverted side but I also enjoy being social and meeting new people and am often up for a pint and a laugh.
When I go somewhere I like learning about about the social landscape of a place and the absurd or mundane things that make it unique, pls feel free to show me your favourite places and share your local gossip/urban legends :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favourite experiences traveling have always been the ones where I get to connect and spend time with people who live in that place. I'm on Couchsurfing because I hope to escape tourist/hostel culture and embrace the more reciprocal, serendipitous, weird, and fun experiences that can arise when staying with strangers.
