About Me
🌍 Hi there!
I’m Annisa from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I work full-time as a data and information analyst, but whenever I get the chance, I love to travel, meet new people, and learn from different cultures.
✨ My Couchsurfing Journey
Between 2017 and 2018, I joined several Couchsurfing group trips and had unforgettable experiences. Those moments showed me how meaningful it is to connect with people from different backgrounds—and now I’m excited to welcome more of those connections into my life.
🍳 What I Enjoy
Cooking and sharing simple Indonesian dishes
Long walks, exploring hidden spots, and city strolls
Swapping stories and ideas over coffee or food
Finding joy in little things—a conversation, a shared laugh, or cooking together
🤝 Why I’m Here
For me, traveling isn’t just about places—it’s about people. I believe every encounter leaves a story behind, and I’m always up for creating memories with new friends along the way. I’m respectful, easygoing, and open-minded, and I really enjoy the exchange of cultures and perspectives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe travel is about more than just visiting new places—it’s about connecting with people, sharing experiences, and learning from each other. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to meet locals and fellow travelers, exchange stories, and see the world from different perspectives.
I first joined Couchsurfing back in 2017–2018 and had such memorable experiences with group trips. Now, I’d love to continue that journey—whether by hosting, meeting up, or being hosted—and keep building meaningful connections along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
You could say I’ve been a Swiftie since the Fearless album—her music is always on my playlist. 📀 For books, I enjoy light and adventurous reads like Percy Jackson, Twilight, and Harry Potter. When it comes to movies, I usually go for anything with comedy or science fiction. And anime will always have a special spot on my radar too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most unforgettable adventures was traveling with my friend from Brussels on a motorcycle for three hours—just the two of us, riding through new places, sharing laughs, and soaking in the freedom of the road. It felt a little spontaneous, a little crazy, but absolutely worth remembering.
Teach, Learn, Share
Come visit and I’d love to share stories about Yogyakarta, along with a taste of Indonesian food and culture. I believe the best way to connect is through conversations, meals, and little cultural exchanges that make every meeting memorable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Even if I’m not always traveling far or sometimes already have a place to stay, I’d still love to connect. If one day I need a friend to talk to, I’ll happily share my stories—and the food will be on me! 🍲✨
