About Me
Hello! My name is Annisa.
I’m an open-minded person who loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Everyone has their own unique personality and background, and I truly respect that. My curiosity drives me to explore new ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
I’m also easygoing—a simple T-shirt and jeans kind of girl who enjoys the little things in life. Whether it’s having deep conversations, discovering new places, or just enjoying good food, I’m always up for a great experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and have new friends, be kind to other people
When I explore some cities, i really interested about the people in there, and cultures also, because I think the people and culture will help me to find the beauty of life.
Interests
I’m passionate about culture, nature, and FOOD!
I love adventures—whether it’s exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, or just soaking in the beauty of nature. The beach is my happy place, where I can relax under the sun, listen to the sound of waves, and enjoy the beautiful sky at sunset or night.
I’m also a festival lover! I enjoy the energy, colors, and celebrations that come with different festivals around the world.
As a true foodie, I spend a lot of my time discovering new restaurants and tasting different dishes. It doesn’t have to be fancy—I just love delicious food! Most of the time, I rely on Google Maps and restaurant ratings to find hidden gems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once tried eating jellyfish. Does that count? Haha!
But seriously, I believe that every amazing experience leads to even more incredible things, so it’s hard to pick just one.
One unforgettable experience was when I volunteered as an English teacher in northern Thailand. I taught elementary students, and out of all of them, only one person could speak English—and she rarely attended class! So, every day, I had to rely on body language and creativity to communicate with my students. It was both challenging and rewarding, and definitely one of the most awesome things I’ve done!
Teach, Learn, Share
Hi there! I'm a passionate foodie who loves cooking, especially Asian dishes. If you're interested, I’d be happy to teach you how to prepare some delicious meals. In return, I’d love to learn more about Middle Eastern and Italian cuisine—so if you have some cooking skills, let’s exchange recipes!
Depending on my schedule, I might even cook a meal for you. If I have free time, we can share a ride and explore the city together. However, I won’t always be available, as I’ll be working most of the time. I appreciate guests who are independent and comfortable exploring on their own.
Looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and sharing great experiences!
