About Me
ABOUT ME
After working in the "real world" for 2 years after college, treasuring my 10 days off and being more or less miserable with the routine my life had started shaping into, I decided I was not going to spend the rest of my 20s in an office dreaming about someday working abroad and learning another language. I finally did what many older people have told me they wish they would have done (that's how I know I am doing the right thing) and I moved to Madrid in September 2015. I took a huge pay cut, I am unable to save any money and my visa is only valid for a year, but I could not be happier here in Spain.
I would say that I am a friendly person, I get along with nearly anyone I meet and I enjoy just hanging out, having a drink and conversing more than most things.
PHILOSOPHY
I really believe that life is about new experiences and trying everything you can. I try to do everything once (or twice).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many wonderful and incredible people and stayed with even more! Some of my favorite people I have ever met have been because of couch surfing and for that I am so grateful that this website exists. It's not just about saving money while traveling, it's about meeting locals and people with similar interests to you that you can have a wonderful time with while exploring a new (or familiar) place.

Movies: Synecdoche New York, Lost in Translation, Magnolia, Annie Hall, There will be blood, no country for all men, all Wes Anderson, Chinatown/everything Polanski, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Tarantino's films, Jim Jarmusch, David Wain's films
Books: Cormac McCarthy, Truman Capote, Hemingway, Bulgakov, Huxley
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite and most memorable experiences have been from my experiences traveling of course. Snorkeling in the Philippines, Munich for a weekend, riding a train across Thailand, walking along the Great Wall of China, watching the sunrise over the Colosseum in Rome, running around Sydney for 35 hours, hitchhiking across Mexico, teaching English in Colombia, and working as a shepherd in Argentina and too many to count.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn how to cook better, I want to learn to sing better, dance better and everything! I would love to learn from you.
I am a jack of all trades (master of none). but I can teach you a few vital skills like how to whistle really loudly
