About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Returning to myself that got lost somewhere 15 years ago.
ME
it was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, or who had ever been alive.”
james baldwin
I used to be devoted existentialist but turned absurdist though human and collective oriented like a socialist in my private and personal life. I used to be religious too. Now you should be confused because I am too. After my recent mushroom ceremony I think I rested with this exploration of who I am, concluding that I am you and you are me and us is it. There.
I am anthropologist by profession. I enjoy people’s company though the people are carefully selected. That circle of my people is small and tight. I spent some time of my life in intentional communities and these experiences led me to understand that I seek connections that are genuine and lasting.
I’m generally polite in social situations because I have learned to be. Otherwise I’m socially weird. I’m the one who will make you giggle at funerals. And weddings too.
I love outdoors unless I am too cold. I have hiked all European tops - that’s what I mean by I like outdoors and sports. I used to be a professional swimmer and I did classical dance training (a way to say I used to do ballet but I refuse to get associated with all the drama that it represents).
I practice what I preach so I believe in transformative learning as a tool for radical change in society. My daily aim is to upset the system and disturb the paradigms. I actually do it for money which I’m very grateful for.
These though, are just forms in which I show up in this world at this moment but above all my biggest focus, desire and passion is activism.
Sometimes I like to just sit, listen and observe people, especially kids thinking what will the future bring to them. How parents talk to them. Think how we as people take everything and everyone for granted. Talking society and politics gets me heated and I like to just do it in a park on a bench or on a curb too. Sometimes with coffee. Other times with wine.
I have background in the arts and music but my still a bit self -deprecating nature doesn’t allow me to pursue this path somehow more seriously. I also have background in philosophy and anthropology which I actively tap into in my daily work.
I genuinely enjoy helping people - that’s what makes me fulfilled. I’m an advocate for a causes I care for, I research them a lot and act for their benefit even if they seem completely stupid for you. When I say I research I literally consume information.
