CURRENT MISSION

My job came to an end in June 2018, and I left my hometown of Washington, DC, after being (re)settled there for 4 years, and I am traveling indefinantely. I like to try to relax and understand a place, I don't show up with a to-do list! I also really like learning language and history, so trying to understand the cultural context of a place i visit is important to me.

I'm always exploring. I LOVE hiking, biking, yoga, beer, beaches, cross country skiing mountains, films, museums, snow....

I've worked as a bike mechanic and am a Yoga Teacher (200h) and im more than happy to share my skills with you!

I have lived in New Orleans, DC, Philadelphia, San Juan PR, Playa del Carmen Mexico, and Pondicherry, India.

I got addicted to backpacking when i spent a year traveling though through Spain, southeast Asia, and Central America.

Travel is my vice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a house that hosted hundreds of musicians visiting DC the i lived in a punk group house with 5 of my friends. I've met so many cool people that way, and got a lot of experience on the "host" end of things! I also have been somewhat active in the DC couchsurfing community and have met a lot of folks that way.

I've couchsurfed just a couple times, and had a blast. I have done Wwoofing, before and had fun finding myself in unexpected situations.
