ABOUT ME

I am a post-doc in biology. I am thus a very curious person and always willing to learn new stuff.

I am fascinated by different cultures and education, especially those that are in direct opposition with mine. I enjoy rebuild my cultural way of thinking, and being confrontated to social paradoxes.

Scientists ain't laboratory rats, they (most of them!) love teamwork and people in general ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At home: I appreciate meeting new people and show them around.
Traveling: I really appreciate time I spend by myself, but even more with local people I meet. Any destination is better with insider view, so that's the reason why I'm here. I am not willing only to sleep in people's place, but more to hear a bit more about how they live/think.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met people in Edinburgh, and went hiking Arthur's Seat with them.
I hosted an amazing CS with my roomie in Quebec city, and showed him around as much as I could with my student schedule :)
I met a great citizen of the world in Czech Republic, who became a friend.
I hosted three amazing CSer as well, and hope to have more experiences like this in the future.

Interessi

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

To walk by a Volcano in Nicaragua and in Stromboli... No words to describe the experience. You can really feel all the power of the Earth.

Learnt:
- How to climb a hill when you haven't slept for 36 hours, and have a beer afterwards.
- How you can be free in a wireless era (Thanks Reilly)
- That you can actually sleep in a truck.
- That a peaceful mind is a realistic goal (Thanks Dean).
- To keep the pace once you started drinking (Thanks Petr)

I enjoy any occasion of learning more Spanish.
