Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy pretty much anything and everything, but I have a particular love for anything funky and danceable, or electronically influenced
Movies: never scary movies, especially the kind that get inside your head. I generally enjoy comedies, unexpected twists, and nostalgia.
Books: too many to mention (though not enough lately), but here are a few: East of Eden, The Power, The Bell Jar, Pachinko, Underground Railroad...etc etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied and lived abroad in Istanbul, Turkey, which was more challenging than anticipated, and very rewarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
My appreciation for teaching, and teachers continues to grow. Teaching is also one of the best ways to learn, though it can be thankless at times. My sharing is great (as long as its not food that I want to eat for myself haha).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Real, honest talking and respect. Every relationship with a new host or friend is different, and I will just let what I can offer each host fit who they are once I've come to know them.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Turkey
Countries I’ve Lived In
Turkey, United States
