ABOUT ME

Hmm. I absolutely love traveling and meeting people. When I have free time, I read books on my Kindle or research things online or watch movies or go for a walk somewhere...

I have step-daughters plus a grand-daughter born in 2008.

My partner since year 2000 is an Aussie and we spend much of our time in his country, Australia.

I am working on my mother's posthumous memoirs.

Food: no sugar, no wheat, no meat, not even chicken. Other than that, everything! Yes dairy, yes corn, yes rye, yes seafood, yes all fruits and vegetables.

Smoking: no.

Drinking: rarely.

My partner and I have been couchsurfing in Silicon Valley, California, Munich Germany and in New South Wales, Australia. Everyone involved has been super.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: action, thriller, not horror. Recently was very taken with Guzaarish.

Music: rock, piano, soul, some classical. Dom plays guitar in his rare spare time - some flamenco and Clapton.

Books: whenever possible. True-to-life fiction, old and new.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I saw the Venus transit from the southern hemisphere through a home made projection system (have some photos, too), and I saw the Sydney dust storm at 5:45am in Sept 2009. I have walked very close to molten, glowing lava on a volcano ridge in Hawaii in 2004.
