ABOUT ME

I am a sober party girl, I guess that's one way to describe me. I am also a huge comedy fan, with Mitch Hedburg being my favourite. I'm also really into hip hop music, I just don't look like the type. I'm pretty athletic (it runs in the family) so sports are a must in my life. I've recently quit my day job working at a large corporate company to start my own optical business: www.parkandfinch.com

I'm also taking the time off to find new inspirations, as I want to start seeing the world from a local's perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Mexico City in 2016 and met up with a host, and he took me partying at 5pm on a Sunday...never done that before! The street food is amazing in Mexico City, 10/10 will go back again.

I've couchsurfed in LA back in 2012 after leaving my job (well, more like got fired). Crazy fun good times and meeting so many different people. I went in December, so it was "cold" to most of the locals, but for a Canadian gal, it's short shorts weather.

Interests

I am a gym rat, I love biking, I used to play the classical guitar & electric guitar (when I was in high school, my friends and I wanted to start a band...it didn't take off). I'm a graphic designer so I naturally gravitate towards pretty packaging.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw the comedian Godfrey walking around in after a show & I became starstruck and asked for a picture and he was super nice...then when other people asked for his picture, he ran away. Pretty funny.

Hitchhiked and crashed a private party at the W hotel in LA...
