I'm always caught into various adventures due to my distraction. I like to think that goblins are having fun by messing my life up. Fortunately, this trait of personality blessed me with a large imagination. While I'm more of the quiet reserved type, I like to express myself into painting, singing and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always had good experiences meeting people from abroad with cultural exchanges (theater and choir singing). And some of them became my closest friends. Beyond hosting and couchsurfing, why not be open to friendship?

Since I'm working as a transcriber and graphic designer in a school for blind an visually impaired people, I'm really interested in all kind of educational media and communication devices. I love to draw and create flyers and posters used for social or cultural purposes.

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I'm more drawn to music and movies from the past. For example I'm in love with psychedelic rock from the 60's, but I also like blues, celtic music, sea shanties, swing, heavy metal, classical (especially impressionism). I have a crush on traditional drawn animation movies but I'm open-minded to almost every genre as long as the movie passes some kind of emotion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I shot a documentary movie as a camera operator, on a helicopter. That helicopter started to have problems during flight and eventually crashed in a potato field. I'm still alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

If the weather is nice we can hang out in my garden and chat with a cup of tea.

If you are in a touristy mood, It will be my pleasure to introduce you to sightseeing stuff around Arlon and Luxembourg. I can drop you of at the station for the day and go to work or I can show you around depending on my time and schedule. Of course I could introduce you to Luxembourgian or Belgian dishes! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I'm familiar with it and can be flexible with my cooking style depending on the guests.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very calm and easygoing guest, I'm glad to help out with the daily tasks like cooking, dishwashing, errands...
Same as with my guests: I'd love to chat and ask questions about local culture. If you wish, I could cook you a Luxembourgian or Belgian meal. Why not be creative and sing or paint together?
