About Me

Sorry, I am not able to host anyone right now. Fully booked.

CURRENT MISSION

To live, to see, to love, to give, to be... I am still searching; when sometimes I find it I feel blessed and grateful.

ABOUT ME

I am macrobiotic/vegetarian and concerned about my health and well being. I do not smoke, but I enjoy red wine every now and again, and also I like warm sake. I used to sing with the Stavanger Operakor (opera choir), used to sing with Fuengirola International Gospel Choir when I lived in Spain. I like taking photos. I like nature, movies, music, a good book...I walk a lot, sometimes I do yoga, sometimes I meditate (wish I could do it more often), I try to stay positive and optimistic, but sometimes life seems to punch me - I am strong and get back up on my feet. I am now preparing for the EMPCOE and the red sky.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2010: None. I was supposed to use a couch in India some time ago, but unfortunately that trip didn't happen. I am new and still trying to find my ways at CS.

Edited in February, 2011: I have now been to London, surfing with a great man called Mo. First time and truly a great experience.

Edited in April, 2011: Been couchsurfing in Phoenix area (and a few days in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada) and I have met only friendly and great people. Very good experience.

Edited in June, 2011: I have now been hosting some people as well (I have to give back the hospitality I was given when couch surfing in the US) and I find it a very nice experience and like it a lot.

Interests

Photography, dancing, singing, learning Spanish, going for walks, ice scating, yoga, meditation, alternative treatment... I love the trees in my garden and the birds that come here. I like to write letters the old fashioned way using pen and paper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth. Nursing a terminal cancer patient until she crossed over. Riding in a car on two wheels with the stunt driver for James Bond. Seeing people get well from so called incurable diseases by changing to macrobiotic food. Giving concerts and performing with the choir (Stavanger Operakor - Opera Choir). Publishing a little book. Swimming with sea lions. Visiting and helping orphanages in Uganda. Volunteering at UNEPs Environment Conference for children, Stavanger, Norway, 2008.
