ABOUT ME

I was born in Singapore, grew up in Northern Virginia, and currently go to Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I spent a semester abroad in Spain and am doing everything I can to keep up my Spanish. I interpret Spanish weekly at a nearby Community Care Center and am also a Spanish tutor at my college. I am majoring in Accounting and hope to someday be an accountant in a Spanish-speaking country. I am the treasurer of my sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and love every minute of it. I thoroughly enjoy my ridiculously busy life but also love just lounging around every now and then. My family means the world to me and I aspire to one day be as great of a mom to my own children as mine was to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS while studying abroad in Salamanca, Spain in the spring of 2008 and was able to couch surf in the beautiful city of Sevilla. I am currently a college student and therefore do not have a couch of my own to offer at the moment!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Incredible. I stayed at three different couch surfers' homes in Sevilla, Spain, and could not have been more pleased with my experience! All were very hospitable and I hope to be as good of a host when I am able to be one.

I can't even begin to name all of the things I want to learn. In general, I want to learn about other lifestyles and other cultures. I think in order to really appreciate one's own life it's important to be introduced to what else is out there. A few specific things that I want to try to learn are: skateboarding, dancing, piano, painting.
