Books: currently trying to balance a history of Myanmar, Updike's wicked humor and Bolano's erudition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying through the sky at 55mph, 300 feet above the ground, on a zip line in Costa Rica.

Driving across unknown lands - remote villages of France, the hills of Costa Rica and small & big towns in Western & Eastern Europe - it’s a wonder I didn’t land up at the North Pole instead of coming back home!
