About Me
a friend once described me as "sprallig" (good swedish word best translated as frolicsome; lively and playful) and spontaneous but at the same time calm and kind.
I am 100% willing to accept this description as very accurate:)))
VIVE LA PASSION!!!! Is the best motto I could let myself be guided by. Also a big fan of quotes on the fine limit between thoughtfulness and sillyness.
For most of the time rather unable to take myself seriously, except for when I feel passionate about something.
(as I am quite new to couchsurfing and don't have a lot of references yet, I thought it might be reassuring to be able to share some references from my airbnb profile https://www.airbnb.se/users/show/136947406 and blablacar profile https://www.blablacar.fr/user/show/75e72d30-2a13-11e8-a000-004ccc6b98fa )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Spent last year, 17/18 in Montpellier, in the south of france, where they have this great carpooling service, Blablacar, that I started using to visit my grand mother in avignon, about an hour away by train. It would cost me half of the price of a train ticket but what I soon started to appreciate even more was the possible social exchange with a stranger I would never have met otherwise.
I am very new to couchsurfing, and very aware of the fact that spending one and a half hour in a stranger's car and paying for the trip differs a lot from the concept of couchsurfing. However I, as a blablacar passenger, know my behavior will determine the kind of ambiance I will have to spend the journey in. I guess I am looking for the feeling of stepping out of the car and being like, wow that happened!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When working as a substitute teacher I participated in a drawing class with a rather messy group, to support their teacher and help maintaining some order. I decided to sit next to a girl who originally refused to participate in the class and spent it on her phone. At the end of class we were drawing portraits of each other, and it seemed like her nonchalant attitude from the beginning had rather been a cover for not having the self esteem to start drawing immediately.
Went to Venice by night train with my friends. One of my best friends and I shared our compartment with two Italian ladies who showed us how to transform the two rows of seats into a surface of seats on which we tried to get some sleep. There was dramatic thunder outside and we ended up talking most of the night. We arrived to Venice early the next morning, before all of the other tourists. We saw the sunrise over the empty streets, reflecting in the surface of the canal, by which we had peaches for breakfast. The first words we heard were Mama mia!! coming from people working with transporting beverage by boat to the restaurants.
