I'm Anouk :) I'm a very curious and talkative person and love to discover new things in the world! My favorite trips are city trips – I go on a run to discover the cities and otherwise love to walk through small streets all day long, looking at different house fronts, peeking into little shops and eating street food or at local, individual cafés. I don't understand how people can't love this, haha, and that's why I write a blog (ookiedough.org) about my best finds in my hometown Hamburg and on travels. I hope to inspire people to find the cutest and most individual places to and make every meal while travelling special!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I treated Wwoofing like Couchsurfing, only for the country side – but whenever I got the chance I escaped to the nearest towns. I just love cities, but unfortunately that's also where hotels are most expensive. So yes, I'm there for the city in first place, but in second place I love to meet locals who know what the city "really" is and can share their favorite spots with me or exchange other travel experiences. I want to get to know more about the whole world, each perk about every cultures and all different lifestyles. Plus, I hope to improve my language skills (still practicing French and Spanish) with locals!

I'm very good at finding amazing cafés and coffee shops, often ones that locals sometimes don't even know about! Otherwise I'd love to go on a run with my hosts, have them show me their favorite places in town or philosophise with them over life theories!
