My name is Anouk and I just joined the couchsurfers!
I would love to meet locals through this, on my trip through Scotland next week!
I don‘t require much, I‘m just happy about a bed and bath. But if you do have some local recommendations or would like to show me some of your culture, I would absolutely love that.
I will most likely be out and about most days, and reading in the evenings.
I love dogs and all other animals and get along well with kids too (I have babysitter and I have two younger brothers).

Would love to do a quick call before confirming a night‘s stay, just to be safe :)

I like to travel adventurous and simple and would love to get to know some locals and your traditions, slang, food, or other recommendations. When i travel to a new country, I don‘t want to be a superficial tourist, I want to get to know the people, culture and country. And I can imagine that couchsurfing could enable that ;)

Música, películas y libros

I love classical music for quiet days and usually listen to music every free minute I have. Usually I listen to pop charts, but I like many different genres.
Same for movies, I love action, romance, some old movies, blockbusters, marvel,…
And I am reading so much these days, it‘s hard to say which one is my favorite. My favorite summer romance this year was „Every Summer After“, my favorite thriller „Verity“ and my favorite educational book „you are the placebo“. I could talk about books for hours.

I bungee-jumped twice in a row because the Adrenalin rush made me want to go again (second time was backwards).
This was from the highest bungee-jumping bridge in the world (I think?). The bloukraans bridge in South Africa.

I have a lot of interests and am always curious to learn - doesn’t really matter about what.
But especially your traditional food, slang, or café recommendations are always welcome :)

I‘m from South Africa and have some basic Afrikaans skills, but I also speak Portuguese, french and german.
