Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy all types of music but it seems that I gravitate towards indie and alternative pop/rock for casual listening, electronic/hiphop/rock/pop/funk for dancing, but I also like classical and hardcore for experimental moods ;) Artists frequenting my playlists recently include: Manu Chao, The Growlers, Lights, Oh Wonder, Broods, Grimes, Solange Knowles, Alt J, Tame Impala, Patti Smith.

Movies: I like everything except for horror; fantastical elements are great. A thought provoking drama is always welcome but sometimes one just needs a good laugh as well. Faves include The Sound of Music, Amelie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Moonlight Kingdom (and other Wes Anderson films), Princess Mononoke (and other Hayao Miyayaki films)...

Books: I read a lot but I think the book that stays with me the most is Le Petit Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a roundtrip carshare trip from Vienna to London last year. Met a lot of cool people, heard some great stories and experienced some weird stuff at the borders. It was an amazing journey for me!

I would love to exchange languages. I also like writing collaboratively - there are various poetry forms that can be explored!
