Overview
About Me
Hi there! I’m Ansar, a recent university graduate with a big curiosity about people, cultures, and places. I am originally from Kazakhstan, Central Asia. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in Europe. Traveling has always been an important part of my life, whether I’m exploring new places or diving deeper into the hidden gems in my own country. And, as this is my first time in Europe, I am really looking forward to opening up new countries and forming new connections.
I'm passionate about pop music, dancing, and making videos. I also enjoy baking and learning new recipes, and having meaningful conversations over a cup of tea with the baked goods hehe.
I believe that experiences are best shared, and I’m always open to learning from others and sharing a bit of my world as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to meet people who share a passion for interesting connections and learning about the world through new perspectives. For me, traveling is about discovering local culture, understanding the daily lives of people in different places, and making meaningful friendships along the way.
As a newcomer to Europe, I’m in a stage of exploring and expanding my horizons, and I believe that Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to do just that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fun of pop music and culture to the extent that I took several courses at uni related to fandom and media studies. Mostly, I like listening to indie, country pop, hip-hop, lo-fi music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I mean the extent of amazingness differs from person to person. Personally, one of the amazing things I did was go to Alaska and work in the small village of 2k inhabitants.
What I Can Share with Hosts
