ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as hilarious, full of energy when in social gatherings. Very clean when it comes to living conditions. Calm, collective and intelligent at times of need.

I don't like dishonesty and don't think much of arrogant people. I'm very laid back and mostly sarcastic so I'm not offended by much, life's too short to be hateful.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about understanding each other, learning from our differences, connecting and remembering your purpose, enjoying and cherishing experiences and memories not objects. It is about becoming better so that you can enrich other lives surrounding you.

Everything happens for a reason whether you understand it or not, it's only time & patience that reveals the secrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Decided to join and create my own memories on couch surfing as I have on many occasions helped my former housemate Mikey's couch surfing guests along with him. Finally he persuaded me to get my own profile, so here I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting for a while now and accept surfers when I get the chance to entertain.

Interests

I love food. Usually cook for friends and family when I get the time. My other loves are: language, theology spirituality and science. I believe all information is useful at some point or another and one can never stop learning. Above every learned there is someone more learned.

I used to play computer games a hell of a lot in my younger days as my goal was to work within the computer games industry but now due to more important goals that has stopped . I like to stay active and healthy and have changed my lifestyle in regards to food and philosophy of living since October 2016. I'm never going back to the old ways after enjoying the benefits of increased energy, health and focus.

I can pretty much talk about any topic as my experiences and interests have all been around major life concerns, goals and people. I enjoy understanding and looking at life from other point of views.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have always grown up with comic books, computer games and art that has enriched and re-enforced my love and interest for this industry.

I appreciate movies with good story lines and plots and at the same time I love watching comedy. A few movies, comics to list:

Marvel/DC comic - X-Men, Avengers, Batman
Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, American History X, The Count of Monte Cristo, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Taken, Saw series, Rocky Balboa series and many more including world cinema

Homeland, Game of Thrones, Daredevil, Person of Interest, 24, Suits and many more.

Death Note, Ninja Scroll, Street Fighter, Naruto, Bleach, Desert Punk, Full Metal Alchemist, Grappler Baki and many more.

I listen to all sorts of music apart from Punk, Metallic and anything that is too crazy and full of useless garbage lyrics. I usually like stuff that has good beats to dance to, like RnB, HipHop, RaiRnB and 80s/90s pop music and anything that has meaningful words.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty amazed at the creation of the universe and how everything unfolds when I meditate. It is pretty awesome when you see a certain plan or path of action that becomes clear and open to you.

There are so many aspects and factors that must take place before a certain result is presented even though we are not always aware of the process. I have on occasions been able to see this process and it is overwhelming.

One amazing coincidence. I went on holiday to Bangladesh with my mum and on the way back we were joined by another woman who was traveling to USA by herself but was on our flight. She had very good likeness and family background to my mum and we spent a good 8-10 hours together in sharing the hotel before flight. As we went to pick up our new boarding cards they called out my mum's name and the woman also went forward at the same time to pick up the called cards, I was amazed to find that this woman also had the same name as my mum, had a son similar age to me. It was an amazing coincidence how someone we just met a few hours ago would have so much similarity as if both my mum's and her lives could have easily been switched, what are the chances of meeting someone out of thousands of people with exact same name as you?

Teach, Learn, Share

Honesty is the best policy and arrogance is something I find unhealthy. Nothing has any meaning except the meanings we give it. Events and actions will always take place around you which you will never have control over but the meaning you choose for it will either empower or dis-empower your life and future.

If you want to experience kindness then let it start with you as there is nothing stopping you from being so, if you want others to show you kindness then you could be waiting for a long time as expectation of others is far more difficult than expectations from yourself. It is easier to change yourself than trying to change others.

Judging is left to the Judge, so who am I to criticize when I have faults of my own.
