HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and have been hosted many a time, while travelling on a budget. Long before I knew about CS, even before it even existed. I very much appreciate the contact with local people, something you don't get much of when you sleep in hotels...
I guess it's rather like hitch-hiking, which I used to do ALOT.
Now I have wheels and give lifts whenever I can.
