ABOUT ME
I'm open to new experiences and ideas. I love meeting and talking to people of all different cultures. I love experiencing new things. I love learning new things. I'm quite easy to get along with.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything is exactly the way it's supposed to be, even if it doesn't seem like it. You tend to receive what you're willing to put into anything (experiences, relationships, etc.). If you do good things, good things happen to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of now, I don't have a permanent address to provide hosting, so I'm only looking to surf while I travel in Southeast Asia. One day hopefully I can give back and provide a couch for fellow travelers.
Interests
Learning (particularly science, philosophy, religion, art, etc), water activities (surfing, diving, etc.), cliff jumping, hiking, talking to people (open minded people), golfing, snowboarding, visual arts (photography, video editing), reading (mostly non-fiction), and other stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - anything directed by Quentin Tarantino, mafia movies, comedies, this list could really go on for days.
Books - favorite author at the moment is Malcolm Gladwell. I the lens that he views the world through. He provides interesting insight on situations that most people don't see. I've never taken a fancy to fiction. I tend to read to learn rather than escape. I prefer movies over reading when it comes to escapism.
Music - Only the good stuff, none of the bad stuff. Depends on my mood generally.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not nearly enough.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn stuff that I don't know... Which is infinitely larger than the stuff I do know and can share. What I can provide is my insights on my experiences on Earth: growing up California, studying the sciences at an undergraduate level (Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, along with a tiny bit of other various topics), living in a Buddhist monastery in the Himalayas for about a month, living in a small town in southern Thailand for about 5 months, and probably one or two other things from my brief 22 years on earth.
