About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make wine out of thin air!! :D
ABOUT ME
Fully vaccinated with Pfizer :)
Once a geek, turned into a roamer... engineer by profession, philosopher at heart... A friendly creature who loves beer. I like spending time close to nature, but love cities too. Different architectures and their history is always fascinating! I love to get to know new people and discover new perspectives. CouchSurfing provides me a great platform to do that :) We all tend to see the world through certain lenses. CouchSurfing helps me break through those lenses and broaden my perspective, embrace new ideas, views and thoughts. I enjoy deep and meaningful conversation, mostly in a cozy setting/atmosphere and sometimes over a walk -- well walks can be cozy too :)
I'm originally from India but have been living abroad for more than 9 years (4 years in Singapore + over 5 years in Poland (moved cities twice so far :D), where I currently live) now. I continuously try to become more and more openminded. However, open-mindedness is subjective and there's always room for improvement. Through CS I have met many wonderful and open souls, which helped me evolve as an individual. Actually CS changed my life!! It helped me see the commonness in every individual, regardless of where they come from and respect the differences. I went from being a shy and reserved guy to someone who is quite outgoing. Thanks to CS!! However, I'm still learning how to be tolerant towards intolerant people :D You see there's always room for improvement, when it comes to being openminded ;)
I have been a CS member since 2014. I was a highly active member between 2014 and 2016 and was participating through hosting (hosted a lot between 2015 and 2016, when I used to live in Singapore), showing people around, attending CS events and surfing (surfed only once so far). In 2016 I moved to Poland and haven't been hosting since and my participation has been limited to attending CS events and hangouts. However, I plan to restart hosting soon! :) You see only one person hosted me so far... so I kind of deserved a break from the one-sided participation ;)
HOSTING:
When it comes to hosting, I prefer not to repeat the same country... but that's not a hard and fast rule... I believe every individual is different and has something unique to offer... Knowing different individuals and a deep conversation with them, gives me high... and that's the reason I host..
SURFING/MEETING UP:
Why should you host/meet me ??... because I'm just amazing!! lol... but on a serious note, if you believe that the last sentence of the previous paragraph makes sense to you, hosting me would probably not disappoint you!!:)
WHO SHOULD NOT WRITE TO ME:
It's not a place to find a free place to sleep !!! So please don't bother to waste your (and mine) time messaging me if you just need a place to sleep.. In short, if you have no intention/interest/reason to meet/interact with me... don't send a request!!
