Hello! I'm Eamonn, I'm from the west of Ireland but I've been living in Dublin for a few years. I like walking, reading, watching good films, watching bad films, and chatting over coffee or pints. In recent years I've become more interested in the environment and in the Irish language. ☘️

In March of 2025 I started walking barefoot all the way from Istanbul to Ireland, in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest barefoot journey. I'm also raising money for two Irish charities (Jigsaw and Friends of the Earth).

My girlfriend Ellie walked with me for about half of the journey, from Istanbul to Vienna.

I previously walked over 2000km barefoot around Ireland back in 2016, meeting lots of amazing people along the way. I'm hoping to meet more cool people as I walk across Europe!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'd have to say walking barefoot around Ireland back in 2016. I walked 2000km around the country, starting and ending in my hometown, in one of the greatest experiences of my life so far. Waking up in the morning and just setting out to walk twenty or thirty kilometres, enjoying the scenery and meeting many wonderful and kind people.
