CURRENT MISSION

Live a life full of adventure!. If one were to ask me after death, if I would want to live the life I am living, exactly the same, all over again, I would want to be able to say "Yes!" with no hesitation. I want to have friends in as many countries as possible and experience as many cultures as possible before I settle down. I want to inspire friends and family to have adventures of their own by sharing my stories and experiences.

ABOUT ME

I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration and majored in Accounting from USF-Tampa. I work at EY but I used to work for Deloitte and 2016 was probably the most eventful year of my life! I was chosen as one of the 16 people from all over the world to be an Deloitte Ambassador at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. I also was able to backpack through South East Asia including a few days in China and India. I am very excited about traveling. I am originally from India and have studied abroad in Slovakia, Austria, Spain and France. I backpacked thru Europe in 2014 and had a wonderful time. I want to do as much traveling now before I have children, have a family and settle down. I love new cultures and meeting new people. I adapt to things very quickly. I would like to do community service during my time traveling as well. I am an accounting and finance major so I would love to see the big cities in the countries I visit as well. I really want to explore the world. I have a fear of not being able to see the world before I die. I think traveling as a Couch Surfer is the most authentic way to travel. Having a local citizen show me around the city rather than a tour guide showing me around the most crowded part of the city is the way I like to travel. When I travel, I like to go to places that tourists do not go to. I want to see and experience things that normal tourists don't get to see.

PHILOSOPHY

Know more today than I knew about the world yesterday and try and lessen the suffering of others. The world is your oyster, the younger you realize that, the more you will travel as much as you can.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because of the people. I feel like I have a network of friends that I have not met yet, all over the world. It is a liberating feeling knowing that I can have a friend in any city that I visit in the world. Every one of my experiences couchsurfing has been wonderful and I could not have asked for anything more. One example that really stood out was when I got robbed in Germany and after that incident, traveled to Prague, my host walked me through all of the precautions I should take because my laptop was stolen, let me stay with him for 3 nights and made me breakfast, lunch and dinner. He also personally took me out and introduced me to his friends. I could not have asked for a better blessing after an incident where I got my laptop, valuables and my cash taken from me 2 nights before.

Intereses

I play tennis and basketball. I love to hike and see scenic areas. I love sunsets anlove seeing them in different places. I keep up with world events by reading the news a lot. I like listening to audiobooks and learning. I am a sucker for intellectual conversations which stimulate my mind.
