ABOUT ME

Pretty shy to be honest. I'm trying to open up more every day. I'm tired of living in the safety of everyday being the same as the last. It's why I joined CS. The world is but a couch away.

I love to sit and talk for hours about nothing. Mostly I like listening. It makes me feel important that someone can share a conversation with me, though I have trouble starting them. If you even need someone to talk to, I have AIM, my screen name is antinpants8

PHILOSOPHY

Currently, I'm lost in life, trying to find meaning. I was recently dumped by my fiancee who I thought was the one for me. She was my reason for living. Got to find something better to live for. :) Mostly I'm happy-go-lucky and want to learn about everything around me.

I consider myself fairly philosophical. The world's so complicated and it's not at the same time. Go somewhere crowded and just watch, you'll see what I mean.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My family stayed with my step-dad's sister at Kanoehe Bay Marine Corp base in Hawaii for a week in 2006. I want to go back to Hawaii so bad.

I'm planning on doing some urban camping soon in my Honda Element. Going to visit New York City and probably just stay in my car visiting as much as I can at the end of March. Maybe meet a few people through CS while I'm there.

Interests

I like being outside when it's warm. I can't do cold. I particularly like the occasional bike ride to nowhere or to just sit on a dead tree in the forest and listen to the wildlife around me.

I've recently started little art projects. I love building things. When it's built by my hands, I appreciate it much more. Can't draw. I also love photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Cashback. It's not that well known, but it's story gives me reason to go on. Everyone should see it. Other movies I love:

Fifth Element, Ironman, Love & Sex, Garden State, Princess Mononoke, A Scanner Darkly

I've been currently listening to alternative rock and electric rock mostly, such as We Are Scientist and The Black Ghosts. Also listen a lot to U2(their older stuff only, new is too pop sounding). Other bands I'm currently listening to:

City and Colour, Crystal Castles, Lily Allen, Arcade Fire, Vitamin String Quartet

Favorite book series is DUNE. Much better story than Lord of the Rings in my opinion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a hard question. Probably the most amazing thing I've experienced is the ability to wake up every morning and know I'm like no one else on Earth.
