About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In an amazing mood to enjoy my new travels

ABOUT ME

Kind and very easygoing person with a witty sense of humor. People say I'm a natural charismatic with an unbelievable good mood (but that can be a bit tendentious ;)

I enjoy good and simple things in life, that's why meeting new people and knowing new places are just my favorite.

A good friend of mine always says that I'm a guy who can float between completely different niches of friends and I totally agree with him ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem, baby! Smile and share! Be curious, thoughtful and caring!

KNOW WHEN TO LISTEN ONLY

That's pretty much it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As an absolute CS beginner, I'm willing to have some experiences first so I can spread the word and host in my new home as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had an amazing CS experience with a cool techie guy from Sao Francisco who hang out with me, showed me around and we became very good friends after that. That's why I decided to get myself fully into CS.

Interests

I have tremendous love for life and nature. Absolutely love dogs.

Logically, I love to go out and socialize. If there's something better than meeting new people and making new friends, I'd be the first in line.

I'm very connected to the web and what's going on in the world. Very interested in design, architecture and fine arts in general. I have music inside my heart as well.

When I'm home my interests may vary from awesome leisure activities, such as skin diving at remote beaches, travelling to great sites, to usual work stuff, usually related to web development, the job that I love. Apart from the good old bon vivant clichet, which can drive me out to enjoy a nice concert during a weekday or to a close friend's cozy home for some wine and cheese, my days and nights can get pretty social, since I live in this mega city which I love and know so much.

When travelling I'm basically an antenna observing everything and ready to interact and exchange good vibes!

Music, Movies, and Books

Always up for some cheesy Hollywood film but my true passion is for good and incisive documentaries. From Surplus to Zeitgeist. Love animations, the classics and undeground flics, too.

Rock and heavy metal was a strong influence in my life. Then I opened my mind a little bit wider and hopefully today I can enjoy all sorts of good music. Nowadays I enjoy good electronic music, the classic beats from Sasha, Oakenfold to the genius Deadmau5. Good old rocknroll from Black Sabbath to Dave Mathews Band, Primus to ƒoo ƒighers, Björk to Jorge Ben. If it sounds good, I like it.

I'm currently reading more techie books recently but who's crazy not to like a good book?!?

Absolutely addicted to these shows: Family Guy, Flight of the Choncords, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Fawlty Towers, The Fast Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, New Girl, Eastbound and Down, Hung, The Office!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Night-diving in the great barrier reef and witnessing the rays of sunrise lightning up this huge reef wall 40 meters down below the water.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just love to learn about different people, their cultures, languages and beliefs! Exchanging experiences and perspectives is a strong point in my personality, that's why I love to chat!

I can teach some Brazilian Portuguese and how to say "cheers" in several different languages ;)

I can make mojitos, caipirinhas and a strong hot coffee too...

Cooking risotto, that's another thing I can do well... what else?...

Oh, right! Of course! I'm a web programmer who absolutely loves the web and lives the most of it! Love building websites with trendy new technology. So that can naturally drive me for some endless techie chatting :) therefore I can teach many things computer-related.

And surely I still have tons of other experiences ready to share !
