Overview
About Me
My friends are what give me the most joy in life. You'd think me shy because at first I'm often quite, but I love getting to know people. I'd say I have a dry sense of humor, but I enjoy seeing the diversity of what others find funny.
Growing up my siblings and I were all home schooled. The village where we were had a population of 500 (we new almost everyone).
After high school, I studied Liberal Arts for a year. The year was difficult for me, but still met some of my best friends. Also I want to go back to school soon.
This past year I spent volunteering, living and working on a Farm. Most of my work was in their cheese house. Living at this farm was a great time of personal growth for me.
Currently I really want to know French, so I'm studying to learn it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Step out of my comfort zone, try something new, learn to trust others a bit more and hopefully bond with those I've just met. Genuinely, I hope to have great personal encounters with all those I meet through CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie is the musical Les Miserables. I've only seen in two or three times (its really long), but man, the story is powerful.
Being a slow reader, I don't have a big selection to choose from, so my favorites are The Name of the Wind and Ender's Game.
