[2019 update: I've been living in Nepal and India for the past year where I've been writing my first travel novel, I'm about to head back to NZ to work, visiting Japan on the way]

The name's Anthony (nickname: T). I'm easy going, curious and excitable. I love wide-ranging conversations, love to connect with people, have fun, laugh, get deep, talk about life and philosophies, share dreams and aspirations.

Originally from near Manchester, England, I left there on a Gap Year... in 2011. I've travelled, worked and lived around the world since then.

I like and am interested in a lot of things (too many) and I'm still very much a big kid. I obviously love travel, that goes without saying. I also like being daft & silly, but also down at any moment for more stimulating conversations -- I love the sciences (psychology, astronomy, physics, evolution) and the wide spectrum of philosophy and spirituality. I try not to hold my beliefs rigidly and enjoy those who both agree or disagree with my views, I'd like to meet others that are the same, or aspire to be the same. Life's just a ride, let's try enjoy it.

Movies: Lots. Of all kinds. Far too many. But my all time favs are often sci-fi, comedy, and absurd stuff. Some that kind to mind right now: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Matrix, Arrival, new Mad Max, Interstellar (for that IMAX experience), Swiss Army Man, Ace Ventura 2, Anchorman, The Revenant, Inglorious Bastards, 8 1/2.

*A skydive where I saw a full circular 360 degree double rainbow (The video went viral with 10million+ people seeing it, was famous for a week)
*10 day silent meditation retreat (Vipassana).
*Three bungy jumps (including the third biggest in the world).
*Performed stand-up comedy and improv theatre

I'm always learning lots of things (always have about 20 tabs open and several books on the go) I love to share and try to teach others (best way for me to learn myself).

At the moment I'm especially interested in sharing creative ideas and processes, to learn from each other, be inspired, and maybe even collaborate on something.
