23 y/o living in Italy until July 2016. Working in a kitchen in Milan for the next 8 months. Looking to discover more about myself and who I really am. During this process, learning the Italian language, culture and traditions is a goal.

Too many to name, cooking, reading, vintage literature + cinema, music, discovering new land, I love speaking to others about history, ideas, philosophy. Really any form of intellectual conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I don't discriminate on any genre. I listen to various genres, depending on my mood. Recently, been listening to classical music.

Movies:
Recently I've discovered the classical genre, can't seem to get enough of it. Any movie that focuses on the plot & acting, I'll enjoy. If it's need tones of special effects or to turn off your brain, I'll pass. Favourite movie though would be "The Rum Diary."

Books:
Majority of Orwell's writings, The Third Plate, Brave New World, Dracula, Fahrenheit 451, The Old Man and the Sea, some old writings by Socrates, Biographies, Readings on slow food and issues on agriculture + sustainability.

I love cooking. I'd gladly share my knowledge on cooking and related topics with anyone who's looking to learn. I'm looking to learn to speak more Italian. Any other information I stumble upon during this process, I'll gladly accept.
