I am a 28 Latin-American male originally from Washington D.C. I recently taught myself Spanish and can speak it fairly well and am currently trying to learn French. I work for the airline industry and therefore find myself constantly on a plane and always on adventure. I am a extroverted and passionate individual with many interests but I find that when narrowed down my main interests involve people, nature, and the general act of always trying to better myself.

Aside from being a possible host for others to visit, I am on Couchsurfing to broaden my horizons and introduce myself to any culture that may come my way. I am an individual who is okay with not making a ton of money and in that respect I will need to pave a good foundation with friends across the world in order to achieve my travel and life goals.

Intereses

As mentioned in the about me section, I am an active outdoors person. When the weather is nice I MUST be outside. Other interests include fitness, language, music, conversation, craft beer... this list could be tiresome, but I keep a very open mind and always about learning new things to be interested in.

Música, películas y libros

Music can be a wide open area for me, I will say that I am not so much a fan of music that features negative mood (Dark/dirty rap, heavy death metal with lots of screaming, hateful music) I am more into positive vibes, because of that I find a lot of my music stems from folk, alternative-rock, EDM, House, Country, Bluegrass, and acoustic anything.

Movies are a bit difficult for me as I am so tainted by the new generations technology that watching old films is incredibly difficult for me. I tend to like dramas and movies with moving themes that cause the idividual to think. I am also a person who appreciates a good actor/actress. My favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump and I will watch any movie featuring Leonardo Di Caprio.

Books-in all honesty I am under read for my age. There are many books that I have had an interest in reading and a lot of books I have put effort into but none of which are of valuable mention in this column or to anyone above the age of 15.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I am definitively the type of person who is a product of their environment and therefore a lot of who I am comes from what I have done/experienced. Because of that, there is a lot of truly AMAZING experiences with truly amazing people. I could easily raffle off some big moments that are cliche like sky diving and caving but some of the most pivitol moments have been the small ones that are just driving out to mountains to enjoy a stargaze and sunrise with friends.

I have lived in this area for 4 years now, I would be able to show you local hikes and ski runs that most tourists don't experience! I can take you to good food places that can leave you star-struck for cost, or show you a lifestyle that can change your mind about wherever you currently live.
