Hi! I've been a journalist, a music producer, a backup singer, a UX Researcher, an accessibility designer, a college teacher, a clown school graduate, and now a librarian and archivist. I enjoy traveling and learning from people, and I've had a lot of fun times because of Couchsurfing and hope to continue doing so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I was in Amsterdam, a friend of mine suggested it to me as we tried to look for housing. I thought that this would be a great way to be able to travel while being able to immerse myself more in the culture of the places I'm visiting.

Interests

I love to read, sing, meet new people and talk about how the world works. I eventually want to get a PhD in Philosophy, so I like overthinking :)

I listen to everything, but I especially love house music. My favorite novel is Sula by Toni Morrison.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I single-handedly cooked an entire meal for 25 people with various dietary restrictions that all liked it (so if you host me, you know I can cook you a meal!)

I'd love to listen and to share stories with people, whether through things I have written, or just going out and talking about our lives.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I also love to bake, and I can share some great recipes (have you ever had Russian Tea Cakes? Maybe not the way I make them).
