I'm a 24 year old facing a quarter life crisis and trying to see the world! I'm somewhat new to Couchsurfing and have been wanting to host and travel, but just haven't had the opportunity to yet! I grew up in Greensboro, NC, and now reside in Charlotte, NC where I've lived for 6 years now. I'm very big into fitness, overall health, and making new friends!

I'm a very quiet guy who loves to meet people, explore cities, and drink good beer. I'm a 420 friendly guy. Very welcoming of the LGBTQ community, as I'm a member myself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to try and get a real experience of a city that I plan to visit. Never have I heard of a bigger community of hosts that want to spread the love and joy of a city in which they reside to a visitor. It takes one person to make an impact on a life, and you never know who you can touch as a traveler or host on another person. I'm also a budget conscious person. Being that I'm experiencing a quarter life crisis.. I need to get out of my boundaries, but also be financially responsible too!

A big thing of mine is to really get to see a city as a local. Of course, you can do the tourist attractions, which I have guilty pleasures of, but I love hole-in-the-wall food, bars, clubs, whatever it may be.

Interests

I'm a huge hiker. I could hike every day if you let me. I love craft beer, food, more food, Netflix, ice cream... you get the picture. Fitness is a big passion of mine, as I'm a cycling instructor.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a good self help book. My favorite movie is Titanic (basic.) And I also love any good documentary that involves good.. oh, and chick flicks! Paris is Burning gives me life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gosh.. I've done a lot.. so it's hard to limit this to one thing. I hiked my 1st 14'er Colorado and I thought I was going to die on the way up, but I'm typing this now, so I didn't! It was Mt. Bierstadt and that elevation was no joke! I also learned to not wear Chaco's that high up. I was so cold.
