About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Prior to COVID I was a touring musician with hopes of continuing on the path towards full-time working musician. Right now I'm in a bit of a transition period, with plans to take over the family business in the next couple of years. In the meantime I'm hoping to spend as much time working on recreational and creative pursuits as I can, and continue to expand my world view so I can approach this new chapter with as much perspective as I can.

ABOUT ME

I love live music--I go to a lot of shows, concerts and festivals. I also like watching movies. I've done a pretty good amount of traveling in the US, although less so in recent years. Love National parks and am happy to have gotten back to do some camping this summer after a few years away from it. I love making new friends!

PHILOSOPHY

Live your own life and try to enjoy every step of it. And be nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been a few years since of done much unstructured traveling, but I've been a guest a few times. I don't currently have my own place, so i'm not able to host, but I can't wait to be able to contribute to the community in that way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I was not a couchsurfing member for my first stint of serious traveling, I ran into several people who spoke highly of the network, and I ended up staying with a few different hosts that I just happened to run into. I met nothing but great people thanks to the network, and really loved the whole culture. I think I have officially Couch Surfed only once a few years back, and had a fantastic host and overall experience that reaffirmed how great this network is.
