关于我

I used to be a hacker by trade, ex-network security expert and telecommunications consultant. Since then, I've moved more towards things that focus on self-reliance, autonomy and sustainability. Recently, I've been studying biology, electronics, agriculture and sustainability in my free time.

Thus far, I've lived and worked (or studied) in five countries and traveled to many more; however, not as many as my father who was Portuguese. I was, born in Northern California. For now, I live by the sea in Bergkvara.

"The overman’s work of art is his own life, which he forges and lives according to his own creative will." So, me and my world are a cavns of sorts.

Philosophically and politically, I'm somewhere between post-left anarcho-nihilism and Zen (Ch'an.) Obviously, that implies I'm an agnostic atheist of sorts but I have deep interest respect for Abrahamic and Buddhist things.

"Saying that there is no dharma to be explained in words is called preaching the dharma."

When I studied abroad, I really loved the experience of meeting so many exchange students and I really loved that environment. I think, with an apartment, I can bring some of that around again. I think it's nice to see this area through fresh eyes as well and maybe do some things I wouldn't normally do :)

兴趣

What makes me happy lately is creating things from scratch and taking things apart. Cooking something using the apples or rose hips from the garden, listening to music, walking until I can't hear any more cars and can see nothing-man made or people, sunbathing by and swimming in the sea... I'm spending a lot of time in the garden now that Spring is arriving.

Things I'd like to do more of are fishing, camping, baking, painting and travelling but my list is much longer. I can imagine having a certain someone to do those things with could be fun.
