ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back guy ... passionate about life but I try not to take many things too seriously. An attorney by trade, I've transitioned into a role of entrepreneur and philanthropist as of late. It provides me with the ability to travel much more, and to prioritize quality of life over hours of work.

I'm just looking to make the most of life by enjoying every day, meeting incredible new people and exploring interesting new places.

PHILOSOPHY

Rather than traveling to stay in a bland hotel, which looks identical to every other bland hotel in the world, I'm much more interested in staying with a local in order to experience the real heart, face, and soul of a city. I feel it's a more authentic way of connecting with other people and cultures, and the best way to meet interesting people and to learn from one another.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Nowadays, I mostly participate by either hosting or by meeting up with travelers visiting New York City. Even if I am unable to host, I'm always open to meeting for a drink or a coffee, to help be a tour guide around my neighborhood, and/or to explore the best that New York City has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe that couchsurfing is one of the greatest ideas and opportunities that I've heard of. It fosters connections between people and cultures and, better yet, it breaks down stereotypes and allows for authentic interactions with those who we might not normally have the opportunity to otherwise meet.
