ABOUT ME

I'm an out going and respectful chap who likes to see the fun and hilarity in myself and all things! I really enjoy meeting new people from different walks of life and hearing about there interests, views and out look on life. I enjoy getting out of my comfort zone and trying new and different experiences. As well as going to new places and taking part in new and different activities, listening to new and rare music, this often involves eating strange things! I've eaten some pretty weird things on my travels and I'm not one to say I don't like something unless I've tried it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm shortly leaving for South and Central America so I'm hoping to meet both travellers and hosts and hopefully gain some unique insights and authentic experiences along the way. In all my travels I've always found that you learn and experience so much more of a place if you know/meet some people who live there. You can end up finding things that would otherwise be missed.

Music: Everything from blues, rock, dub, afro beat to hip hop, techno, deep house, trip hop.... There really is just to much! As long as it's good then I'll listen to it!

Books: The Count of Monte Cristo, War and Peace, Homage to Catalonia, 1984, Papillon, Brave New World, 100 Years of Solitude....

Movies: A Prophet, One flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Casino, Shaw Shank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Fansipan mountain, Vietnam. Not the tallest peak but some pretty ferocious jungles and streams to cross to get up there and saw some baboons to!

If you're a musician then I can show you some basics for recording and producing your own music.

I'm not to bad in the kitchen either although I must warn you I'm no master chef! But i'm more than happy to roll up my sleeves and get behind the pots and pans.
