ABOUT ME

Well there's a lot of information on the web about me because I'm in academic research. I usually prefer listening to people more than talking about myself since that's the only way to learn. But anyway I travel regularly as part of my job, and I like making friends in new places, and recently my friend suggested I try Couchsurfing so here I am :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I don't spend much time on philosophy, only questions. Like how does the mind work? Can we end poverty and war? Why does my country spend money so inefficiently on healthcare? But most importantly, where is my damn coffee? I just had it, and then I went in the other room to chat with someone, I must've put it down somewhere...

Interests

I like writing, playing tennis, soccer, and running. I also like spending time talking about anything from science to politics, and eating good food! I used to play guitar, but I sold it before I moved here, and the Japanese work day is sooooo long - but now I'm thinking of buying a new one.
