HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS project, but I am fond of the mission and would love to help schedule-permitting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a rookie. I signed up a few years ago after my close friend from Las Vegas used this community as he did his Europe vacation. I thought that was just grand. Last year, we all went on a vacation together to Northern California and met up with some locals for breakfast. We all hit off and hung out several times after that. I was just really blown away at their hospitality and openness just to embrace relative strangers, and it really did impact me.

Anyways, I just relocated to the UK for work, and it reignited my interest in this.

The Godfather, Fight Club, and I Heart Huckabees are my favorite, but I am easy to please.

I prefer a conventional artist that can write his/her/their own music and/or lyrics (see most bands before 2003). I figure Joe Dirt would like my playlists. I acknowledge there are some fantastic pop artists out there. Teenager me hated the Spice Girls, but now I can see they are just fun. Get over yourselves, people.

and books are great. However, they are just not a medium I enjoy consuming for leisure.
