About Me
I'm a Midwestern farm boy now living in the Big City of San Jose. I've been fortunate enough to travel around the world (20+ countries), live abroad (Japan 3 years), and study abroad (Russia in college).
Of those excursions abroad, the homestays have been the best. For example, I've done one month with a family in Finland, 2 weeks in Japan, and 1 week in New Zealand. While I was growing up, my family hosted nearly a dozen exchange students, too.
I haven't traveled nearly enough lately and am looking forward to traveling more for fun again soon.
