ABOUT ME
I love cooking and especially eating, trying new things, going to new places. I don't like boring places or situations, I prefer something that is stimulating, something that I can learn from or something I can create.
PHILOSOPHY
Since we can't change the nature of life, all we can do is enjoy it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted before while living in Spain, and now am around to possibly host here in Madison, Wisconsin for any people lucky enough to be traveling through in the summer time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far all of the couchsurfing experiences I have had have been very pleasant, I enjoy the fact that someone needs a place to stay and an instant friendship is born. I think it's a great way to see places, get integrated immediately with the local people and experience things that you would never see staying in a hostel or hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: "The Shawshank Redemption" "The Truman Show" "Saving Private Ryan" "The Big Lebowski" "The Sixth Sense" "Casablanca" (no, I'm kidding, it's a terrible movie if you think about it, but it's old so it gets more points for originality. I mean Captain Renault makes women have sex with him to get exit papers??? And Humphrey says at the end, 'this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship'?? Wow, that's a new low Humphrey)
Music: Pretty much everything except for heavy metal and country
Books: "Animal Farm" "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" "1984" and less morbid books like "The Killing Fields" and "Heart of Darkness"
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I speak English Italian and Spanish, and I can cook
Learn: I want to learn French, or Arabic, or Portugese, or anything that anyone can teach me, especially about history or culture
