About Me

CURRENT MISSION
11 years a nomad, re-orbiting South America to keep doing my thing.

ABOUT ME
I've been on a quest since boyhood to unlearn the empty values of capitalism and mind-control to the point that I'm now in a state of extended travel, trying to live off of love and the land. flying high like an eagle, taking it all in. happy to find more peace outside of America Inc. I'm a people junkie and want to get to know the world around by making connections with places and people far, wide, remote, exciting, and different as I can possibly go.

PHILOSOPHY
life is too short to worry. happiness is a choice, and you can always (and should always) look at things in a positive light. If that fails, choose a neutral outlook. we've got too much love in us to ever hold any back. you are never alone. comforts are crutches, let 'em go and learn to live! always appreciate everything. we are a world family, let's act like it! smiles, along with all the best things in life, are free and unlimited.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I ran a bed n breakfast in my brooklyn loft apartment, and now I'm taking [many] years off to see the world, instead of seeing the people from all around the world in my town! I'm in it for the long-haul, so for now I'm excelling at being a guest! I look-up CS'rs in most places I visit, for good company and everyday CS magic. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Surfed much and with all valuable experiences. I seek those I can evolve together with, and in every case we have success. I'm grateful for such a wonderful tool to tap the vein of our beautiful vibrant planet and people, and will do my part to perpetuate and contribute to the CS project.

Interests

long-distance cycling, organic farming, local food (I'm making a cook book), sailing, diving, language, computer tech, green tech, building community, astral flight, burning man, vegan and vegetarianism, evolutionary consciousness, giving it all away, sharing all I have, tearing down social walls and loving freely

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One! Crossing the Panama Canal, the magnitude of this feat of engineering and the passing of so much cargo by my wee sailboat every 5 minutes is humbling, awesome, the eeriest evidence of man's attempted dominion over nature. Then sailing to the Galapagos, and across the Pacific (30 days without seeing land) to French Polynesia. Attending my fifth Burning Man, communing in my favorite town on earth with some of my best friends from beyond, convergence and synchronicity in my heart space. Camping out under the stars in my tent for much of recent years in 6 continents, waking and sleeping with the coming sun, rooting in nature and growing away from the mania of cities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually keep this a secret: in my past life i was a real Mac Genius™. i'm very handy and will fix your house, and probably your computer. i might eat all your fruit, but I'll replace it with a bigger pile tomorrow. and hot brownies. we'll cook yummy veggie cuisine, and maybe go overboard.
