About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to work in an office and not spend the whole day wondering where to go next!
ABOUT ME
Easy going, likes meeting others, clean, responsible but loves adventure and of course travel is a passion. Love nice food and wine and sport too.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel, if I am not travelling find a way to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed a lot, now hosting in canberra

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been surfing throughout Sri lanka, Israel, all over Europe and most recently Iran (2015) I love it because I get a local insight that I would never get at a hostel. Everyones been very friendly and accommodating. The cs experience has been amazing, its revolutionised travel for me and has and will do so for many others as well. Quite incredible.

Music, Movies, and Books

paolo coehlo is class, I like most music; bands i have seen live; Pearl Jam twice, Lenny Kravitz, Silverchair 3 times, powderfinger (last two good aussie bands), Bon Jovi, Placebo, matchbox20, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd . Would love to go to a U2 gig. Movies is hard, leo dicaprio always does awesome movies these days. but love good original comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The highest I have climbed is a 6100 meter mountain, got frostbite and ended up in a Bolivian hospital. But it was amazing and worth it.
I went to every country in south america, one amazing thing i saw for all the wrong reasons was georgetown in Guyana. Scary place, never been more petrified in my life.
World cup 2010 went to all the Aussie matches, 25000 travelling aussie fans jumping and singing as one, it was incredible.
Wimbledon 2003 slept on the street and got 5 rows from the front centre court tickets.
1995 afl semi final. Tigers (my team) vs arch rivals essendon. We came back after half time from the dead 2 win.
Machu picchu, angkor wat, tikal, iguazu, ethiopia, pyramids, snorkeling with sharks around the world, south africa, madagascar, petra, great wall, hampi, palau, iran, ethiopia again, bay of pigs invasion.

all these are amazing, i could go on but i dont want to bore.

Teach, Learn, Share

well travelled, people that like to talk about their culture and other cultures for that matter. I learn a lot from people that have travelled to places where I havent. I enjoy picking their brains.
