My name is Tiger, I'm 20 with 12 years of experience (ie 32 lol), previous software engineer, but now dive instructor (amongst other things), travelling around the world for my job ! After three years on the road (2 in Australia, and one in Asia/Mexico), time for me to go back to one of my favorite places I've visited so far : New Zealand !!!

For me, CouchSurfing has always been the best for me, whether it was to host and meet cool people, or to be hosted and meet EVEN BETTER people hahaha
And since traveling is like a drug for me : I'm not planning to stop any time soon :D

My vision of life is that : "it's not because you're born in a place of the world, that you need to stay and live there all your life" ! So I wanna visit the world, until I find the palce I wanna retire to !

I also happen to be a musician, playing almost any kind of drums, and being in a batucada (brasialian band) for quite a while now (which also gave me the opportunity to go to Brasil and play during Salvador's Carnival !!!!)
I also happen to have a handpan now, which made me love music EVEN MORE !

Last but not least, nature and music are not my only passion, cause I'm French, so I like cooking A LOT ! And I think it's something that bring cultures together, so be prepared for awesome cooking sesh with me hehe !

So if you're pretty much alike, there is good chances that we get along very well, and create awesome memories !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Mostly because I like to meet people, and especially from other cultures, and I think CSing is THE best way to find alternate things and discover the true habits of people living in their country, instead of just following blindly a touristic guide (booooooring !)

兴趣

Sports :
Outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, slack-lining, etc
I also love sea activities such as snorkeling ans scuba diving

Music :
I love all kind of music, and like to go to concerts when I can.
I'm also playing in a batucada (brasilian percussions), cf "about me" part ;-)

音乐、电影和书籍

I listen to every kind of music, but if I had to pick two, I'd say rock and electro maybe.
For movies, I watched so many great one that I couldn't pick one ... Maybe Lord of War for the message it's delivering.
For books, I'm not really a good reader, so I'll pass on that.

Quiting my job and selling my house to live in a van for 2 years in Australia, 5500km trip in the west coast of the US to discover all the national parks, going to Brasil to play for the carnival, working for Burning Man... you name it :D

I can teach you slacklining as well as other outdoor sports if that's your thing !
I also know a bit about music, so could share some tips with you :-)
Oh and I also love to danse Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba/Rock/WCS (lol), so I'd love to be able to dance and/or teach you some dancing moves !!!

I can share good moments, maybe some time at the beaches nearby to do some snorkeling or climbing over the water, or even some slacklining lessons above the pool :-)
Pretty fun moments usually !
