About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Singing very loudly

ABOUT ME

From most recent!

Studying in Philadelphia, which is a super cool city with lots of great food! Once you make it past the "must-try" Philly cheese steak, there is so much the city has to offer for the tastebuds. I feel like a travel catalogue, but it's true and you can get to a number of concerts for about 2/3 of the price of New York shows for the exact same act! So Philadelphia is my new home town, and I'll soon be moving into a super central loft apartment where I'll be able to host people.

I study opera. No I'm not fat. Yes I am very loud. No it's not all tragic! There are many fun stories in opera and the characters are often very complex. Being on stage is my thing, it really gives me a buzz, and I grew up with a lot of classical music so it's the obvious choice for me. Plus I have been gifted with a very deep and resonant voice (which you can hear from blocks away when I laugh) and despite trying at times to be quieter... I seldom succeed! So that's me.

Going back a little further, I grew up in Austria, lived in France for 9 years and then New Zealand for 5, so I speak German and French too for those of you visiting from those countries. Even if I don't have a couch available, let me know if you're in town; I love to practice my German and French!

My hobbies are music (duh), books, movies, horseriding, skiing, waterskiing, cycling, wandering around exploring places, FOOD, language and culture

PHILOSOPHY

We each construct our worlds according to what is most useful and meaningful to us, and there are many different belief systems and ways of thinking to serve us in this. Everyone has a right to their own mental citadel, but we should all be prepared to discuss why we believe in what we do without attempting to convert others to our ideas.
