ABOUT ME

A outdoor enthusiast! A trust worthy dependable friend.
I work in an Outdoor industry, that allows me the ability to hike, bike, paddle, and CLIMB!
I write when I can, and play a few instruments, guitar, and my knees as drums.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everybody wants to be heard. I am here to listen, and share as much as I can with the people I come across. I want to hear others, and share my experiences with them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a community member. Organize and contribute to local events (Ogden Trail network, Ogden Nature Center, Weber State University) in their programs and fundrasiers. Community gardening i feel brings a community together better than anything else, sharing weeks of labour for something we can eventually eat together puts a smile on my face.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had experience with being a co-host, to several international, and a few local travels throughout the United States. My experience has all been wonderful. The first memory comes from two ladies from Lithuania that taught me how to drink Vodka...it includes pickles, potatos, oh and lots of Vodka.

Interests

Rocks! I'm very into the world of rock climbing, whether it be bouldering, sport, or traditional styled climbing, I can not get enough climbing in my life. I am an instructor, and entry level outdoor guide, working in the Outdoor Industry has enabled me to spend my time, Climbing, hiking, biking, paddling (watersports), and taking care of first timers.
I play a few musical instruments.
Wildlife photography, and videography can fill many many many hours of my time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunsets on the Cannon Beach coast. The Oceans in Hawaii, Mexico, California, Georgia, Oregon, how different each is, and their respected beauty in each. Swimming with Sea Turtles in Hawaii, and millions of fish and rays in Mexico.
Taking the time to breathe in, from the top of a mountain, or along the coast with family or friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
Outdoor Skills: First Aid, Rock Rescue, Climbing Skills, Camp Cooking: great meals with only essentials. Packing.
Teach: Guitar lessons, snowboarding, mountain biking, the English languages, and North American Slang.
