ABOUT ME

I'm from Ohio, and currently live in Denver, Co. I love living in Denver. The people here are fantastic, and there is always something to do. I like hiking, reading, film, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

By changing yourself you change the world: At the end of the day you've got to live life the way you think is right, people will be able to see the way you live your life, and hopefully learn from the things you've done they agree with. At the same time you must be open to new ideas and ways of living that you see in others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just signed up, but hope to crash at a few places over the next few weeks while traveling. I'm starting out traveling by myself, and hope to meet some new people, and see how others are living. A couch is great, but I hope to leave with something more than a good nights sleep.

I would like to host when I get back to Denver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience is mostly with friends and family, either traveling myself or hosting. An old friend of mine (told me about this site) and his girlfriend stayed with me for a few days last month. It was great having them here, and showing them around gave me a new (rejuvenated) appreciation for my own city.

I was hiking with a friend in Montana two years ago, and when we came to a fork in the trail, not knowing if we should go right or left, we turned around, went back to the car, and drove 7 hours to Yellow Stone to watch the sunset over the grand canyon of Yellow Stone. There was no one around at this hour, and it was one of the most peaceful, perfect moments of my life.
