I'm just your average urban hippie: vegetarian, feminist, bike-commuter, NPR-listener, craft beer drinker. I like meeting new people and I love to feed people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I finally realized that about half my friends are couch surfers and that I've met amazing people as CS events, so I'm far overdue to sign up!

Musica, film e libri

Movies: I can't sit still that long, but if I do it's probably for an epic adventure or a B-grade comedy.
Music: I have comically bad taste. My key criteria is whether I like to sing along to it in the car, so there is a lot of bad pop music with rock, alternative, punk, and whatnot mixed in.
Books: Mostly text. I also enjoy social analysis -- gender, race, class, etc.

I'm good a crocheting and making homemade jam, bread, and pickled veggies.
I would love to learn kayaking or rock climbing or any kind of new kitchen skill.
