About Me

I got to a point in my life where I find defining myself as very limiting for my growth so I'm no longer trying to. However, if you are reading this you probably would like to get to know me a little bit better before we get to meet for real so I'll tell you my main trait is curiosity. This has lead me to a passion for knowledge, adventure, philosophy, art, music, nature and everything in between (also known as the will to constantly grow and go out of my comfort zone).

This last year has been crazy for me, full of changes, so I haven't been able to travel or host much, neither be on this platform (resulting in my response rate being 0% right now). As part of these changes and going out of my comfort zone I recently dropped out of college so I'm eager to return to the world-exploring, people-meeting, Couchsurfing part of my life (sad part of the story being I'll probably keep on being unable to host for a while- which is currently still true if you are reading this on my profile, but I'll keep you updated as soon as I'm able to host again and be a tourist in my own city with you! ^^).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find joy in connecting and sharing with others, learning from every person I get the gift of meeting and finding wherever I go not only places, but precious memories and unexpected friends.

I generally find the experience of travelling and daily life more fulfilling, authentic and adventurous thanks to this platform.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very open minded so I usually listen to all kinds of music, read all types of books and see a lot of different movies (may we don´t forget inspiring YouTube videos and TED talks either) . Oh my friend, wouldn´t I spend the entire day trying to share everything I love! So I'll just brainstorm down here some of whatever comes to my mind at the moment I write this:

-Bookwise (this is a big one, I've read so many books of so may kind on so many different topics my mind hurts just by the thought of having to remember them, I always try to think they have contributed to my learning and growing even if I don't remember them. But some of them would be The Little Prince, The Catcher in the Rye, On the road, Love her Wild, Milk and Honey, The essential Rumi, Letters to Theo, The metamorphosis, The Power of Now, 1984, The Alchemist, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Momo, Bukowski's poetry, Nayyirah Waheed's poetry too, etc, etc, etc).

-Musicwise ( Gregory Alan Isakov, Ed Maverick, Daniel Johnston, Cigarettes After Sex, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Django Reinhardt, Bob Dylan, The Lumineers, The Doors, Tash Sultana, Peia Luzzi, Buena Vista Social Club, Hindi Zahra, Muerdo, El Kanka, Rozalén, Alice Phoebe Lou, Chuck Berry, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Bee Gees, Queen, The Black Keys, Damien Rice, Silvana Estrada, Of Monsters And Men, Mumford & Sons, Nathy Peluso, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Xavier Rudd, Lewis Capaldi, Dean Lewis, Calle 13, Kodaline, Tom Rosenthal, Elvis Presley, Bon Iver, Damien Rice, Vance Joy, brazilian samba, etc. etc, etc).

-Moviewise (Vincent, Rebel in the rye, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Into the wild, Walk the line, Dead poets society, Love, The end of the fucking world, Bohemian rhapsody, Colette, Mary Shelley, Séraphine, I Origin, The Soloist, Begin Again, A star is born, Collateral Beauty, The Pursuit of Happyness, Kings of summer, Happy-documentary, The Wall, La la land, The Vanishing of Sidney Hall, Avatar, The perks of being a wallflower, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, etc, etc, etc).

Side note: I do really enjoy independent cinemas, live music (special mention to street performers) and any size bookshops and libraries I can get lost into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Winning an european photo award that allowed me to travel out of my country and opened the world to me for the first of many times to come.
Volunteering, solo travelling, working and going to live on my own to another part of my country when I was 18 where also some life changing experiences I cherish as deeply as the people I met on my way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything I can learn from you, I will.
Anything I can teach you, I will.
Meeting will always involve some learning and teaching for both either we are aware of it or not (collateral effects of sharing a piece of life).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Probably the best thing I can offer my hosts is conversation, shared time and adventures, helping with anything I can and some singing and ukulele playing if they are into it (I always love a little jam session whenever I am hosted by or host musicians!), as well as a place to stay and a known face if they want to come to my city and I'm there at the moment :)

Side note: If you aren't Spanish and are eager to try the famous Spanish tortilla I can also cook that for you ^^

Countries I’ve Visited
