Been couchsurfing informally only once until now: A kind soul let me sleep on his couch in Stuttgard when the Linuxtag was on in 2001. He was kind enough to offer me his couch again afterwards. Cheers, waldi!

When I have the money to do so, I plunder the local book shop every week. My favorite authors are Charles Stross, Iain (with and without M.) Banks, Hunter Thompson, Stanislav Lem, Neil Gaiman, H. C. Artmann, and Warren Ellis. As you can see, I enjoy (Science) Fiction, but I don't mind (e.g.) an entertaining travel diary, either.

My music taste goes from Air across Johann Sebastian Bach and The Clash all the way to Zolof the Rock&Roll Destroyer. Everything but Austrian Volkstümliche Musik is in.
